I wanted to surprise my parents with an international trip. Coming from a middle-class family, it has always been our dream to travel overseas. I really wanted this trip to go well, as it was my first time taking my parents out on a trip. This is why I thought it would be best to seek help from a reputable travel company.
While searching for travel packages, I came across Thrillophilia’s site. I was impressed by the variety of packages and numerous positive reviews of Thrillophilia.
Then, I found a Singapore package for 5 days and 4 nights, which seemed perfect. Wanting to know more about the package, I submitted an inquiry.
The next day, I received a call from a company representative. I asked all my questions about the package, and he patiently answered them all politely, one by one. After getting all my doubts cleared, I immediately booked the package and completed all the formalities.
After finalizing everything, I told my parents about the trip. My mother was overjoyed, while my father’s first reaction was to scold me for spending so much.
But I knew they were both extremely happy and proud of their daughter. I booked the flight tickets, took my parents shopping, and then packed our bags for our first international trip.
About the Trip
Upon arrival at Singapore Changi Airport, I received a call from the same representative, informing me that our driver was waiting outside for us. We collected our luggage and easily found our driver right outside the exit gate.
He greeted us with a pleasant smile and helped us load our luggage into the car. We then proceeded to our pre-booked hotel.
Our hotel was a beautiful 5-star property with a swimming pool and a rooftop restaurant. The check-in formalities took hardly any time as Thrillophilia had already taken care of everything.
Since it was a leisure day, we decided to go out for dinner. After resting for a while, we started getting ready around 7 in the evening. We asked our driver to take us to an affordable restaurant. He took us to a charming restaurant near our hotel.
We wanted to try something new, so we ordered Hainanese chicken rice, chili crab, and laksa. After a delicious meal, we chose to walk back to our hotel.
The next day, we visited the much-awaited attraction, Marina Bay Sands. We went up to the SkyPark Observation Deck, where we could see the entire city of Singapore, a remarkable sight. After spending a few hours there, we headed to our next destination, which was the highlight of our trip.
We were going to Gardens by the Bay, a visit to which would complete our Singapore experience. We spent hours taking pictures and making videos in the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.
In the evening, we enjoyed the Supertree Grove light show, an enchanting experience. Afterward, we returned to our hotel.
Day 3 included a visit to Universal Studios Singapore, the largest theme park in Southeast Asia. It was a fun-filled day where we met characters like Shrek and the Minions.
We tried almost all the rides, including Battlestar Galactica, Transformers, and Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. We ended our day with some shopping, purchasing items like t-shirts, souvenirs, and toys to gift our friends.
On Day 4, we were scheduled for a Sentosa Island tour, which was complimentary with our package. All three of us dressed up for the Sentosa adventure. Our driver dropped us off at Sentosa, where we connected with the company representative.
We explored attractions like S.E.A. Aquarium, Butterfly Park, and Wings of Time. It was a day full of excitement, and we made sure to capture every moment. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the island.
The remaining day was at leisure, so we decided to explore the city on our own. Our driver took us to Orchard Road, where we indulged in some retail therapy.
We then headed to Clarke Quay for a relaxing river cruise. At the end of the day, we had dinner at a local restaurant and returned to our hotel.
The next day, we packed our belongings and went down for breakfast. After breakfast, I completed the check-out formalities while the staff loaded our luggage into the car. It was time to end the trip and return home with a plethora of happy memories.
